my weekend was
fabulous.
well besides the being sick part. and the blowing nose to taste the food part. and the almost falling asleep while driving home part. and the talking obnoxiously loud because my ears are stuffed up part. and the getting a tummy ache from eating too much icecream because I wanted to rebel against the rules®ulations of being sick part. .......
if you minus out alll that .... it was fabulous. just fabulous.
yea.
anyways, i was so happy to see my twin that I was seperated from at birth hahaha this is what we call ourselves. we met at a party that was hosted by my ex-boyfriends best friend. she came with a girlfriend and I came with him ... too funny because she almost didn't go and neither did we. I always say that we were destined to meet so therefore I was supposed to be with my boyfriend at that time and we had to go to the party ...
back to present time.
we went to this awesome restaurant .... where I unfortunately could not taste the food. yes, I was deeply saddened by this. we ordered spinach ravioli and lobster mac&cheese...both dishes {i imagine} were out of this world. then we ordered pumpkin cheesecake ... that was amazing {i think}.
then we took a cab to the theatre ... I've never been in a taxi before and kept replaying clips from the movie, The Bone Collector ... I had my hand on the handle just in case anything happened.
saw the movie ... New York, I love you ... that was pretty good. I saw the french version of this...which was much better {in my opinion}. the seats in the theatre reclined and made it a nice comfy experience, which of course would of been better if I wasn't sick.
can you tell that I am completely harping on this sick thing ....
after that we hung out with a few of her friends at a local bar ... I was extremely tired, but since I haven't had a night out in sooo long I held my own and even rocked out in my seat .... I need to go dancing one of these nights.
anyway, by the time it was time to leave I was beyond exhausted ... falling asleep while driving is an indication that maybe I should have gotten a hotel room for the night.
Sunday ... was completely different. I met up with another girlfriend for lunch and had SUSHIIII ... oh my word it was delicious!
Then I bought icecream ... left it out while I was taking a bath ... then decided that I didn't want to eat it at that moment ... put it back in the freezer ... took it back out of the freezer to thaw ... read some of my book ... fell asleep for two hours ... decided that I wanted to eat icecream ... realized that I had left it out for two hours ... put it back in the freezer ... fell asleep again ... woke up ... decided that I wanted to eat icecream ... took it out of the freezer ... realized that only the top was frozen and that the middle was beyond gooey ... ate a lil bit anyways ... put it back in the freezer ... fell asleep ... woke up at 2AM ... still wasn't completely frozen, but better than before ... ate some ... then fell asleep ...
and finally ...
i woke up with a massive tummy ache.
not cool. not cute. not smart.
lesson learned. the moral of this story is -> don't eat gooey icecream while sick.
the end.
